The Shootout Begins

The Summer Shootout is upon us as we only have 15 hours till the green flag drops at Michigan. Drivers are looking to pick up the inaugural race win. Some guys already have good setups and others will stick with Dale Jr's pro setup. JWB has posted the fastest times in practice already with laps in the 35s. SICK wasn't to far back as he had a few laps in the low 36s. More prep will go into the cars on Thursday all the way up till race time. Since the Sprint Cup and Nationwide series races in Talladega where drivers already have good setups, all focus will go onto Michigan. Will tempers flare again like they did at Richmond. Will drivers take rivalries into this week and use it to their advantage at Michigan. We will see. In my opinion it won't be a wreckfest. Auto Club, a similar speedway, wasn't a wreckfect so I don't expect this to be one. Good luck to all participants.
